We want to share an exciting update with you as we look forward toward that future. Searcy Financial Services, Inc. is pleased to announce our new executive leadership team:

- Marc Shaffer, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, Chief Financial Officer
- John Fales, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, Chief Compliance Officer
- Ryan Brooke, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, Chief Investment Officer
Our founder and former President and CEO, Michael Searcy, will remain an active member of the team, serving as Founding Advisor.
“Although they have not had these corporate titles in the past, these company owners have served on the executive team in these roles for many years, implementing changes that benefit our clients and advancing our position as a leading firm within the industry. I am excited for this transition as it culminates a plan that began its evolution over 10 years ago and assures that the future success and longevity of our firm remains in excellent hands,” says Searcy.
With great respect for you and our community, we began the development of our succession plan more than 10 years ago. After announcing our first new partner in 2010, we continued to add three additional partners over the years, each bringing a different area of specialization and expertise to the executive team. Our intention was to not only create diversity in the firm’s leadership, but to ensure you would be taken care of for future generations to come. We are the same team you have known for years.
“It is a privilege to lead a company that has been building since 1976 and, in many ways, forged its way through a previously undeveloped industry. Mike has mentored each of us through this transition and our time with Searcy Financial, but the fact that he built such a strong firm that has embraced change, technology and individual development for so many years is what puts us on such a strong footing today,” says Kmetty. “I am so delighted to be working alongside such a talented leadership team.”
With more than 20 years of experience at Searcy Financial, Jessica Searcy Kmetty brings a wealth of experience to her new role. She holds a B.S. degree in Business Administration from American University and has been responsible for the entire operations of the firm as well as our retirement plan division. As a sought-after leader in our industry, she has served on operations, advisor development and technology panels and committees for several national organizations.
Marc, John and Ryan, each accomplished CFP® professionals, have served the firm in operations, planning, and investment roles. As CFO, Marc will utilize his skills in financial management to ensure a solid company foundation while continuing to nurture relationships and help people realize their goals. With a strong background in communication, John will continue to expand our connections to our clients and community while remaining as the Lead Advisor for our subsidiary, Allos Investment Advisors®, LLC. As CIO, Ryan brings an extensive background of investment education and experience, and will steer the investment management team in maintaining our investment style and directing our strategy.
